I’m sure by now you’ve seen that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has passed and is headed to President Trump’s desk for his signature. You’ve probably also seen that AT&T announced they’re paying a special $1,000 bonus to employees and committing to an extra $1 billion in capital expenditures thanks to the lower corporate tax rate.
This is a big deal for Pennsylvanians. Not only does AT&T employ more than 2,000 people in Pennsylvania, the state is also a major supplier of equipment to the company. AT&T purchased more than $2.1 million worth of goods and services in Pennsylvania in 2016.
Republicans promised to cut taxes and get our economy moving again.
Promise made, promise kept.
I wonder how Senator Bob Casey and Rep. Matt Cartwright are going to explain their votes against the tax cut bill to Pennsylvanians…..
