RNC Statement on House Democrats' Refusal to Condemn Socialism, Noncitizen Voting

Washington, D.C. – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement after House Democrats voted against a resolution condemning socialism and noncitizen voting. 

“Democrats have made clear that they’re captive to the far-left fringe of their party and detached from the values of the American people. When given the opportunity to denounce the horrors of socialism and letting felons and noncitizens vote in our elections, Democrats chose to side with radical ideologues and activists. Americans deserve leaders who will put America First – not extremists who will turn our country into the next Cuba, North Korea, and China." 

Every House Democrat failed to condemn: 

• Socialism, in all its forms. 
• The Democrat Socialists of America agenda that calls for noncitizens and incarcerated criminals to vote in American elections. 
• Instances where multiple States under Democrat leadership have allowed noncitizens to vote in elections, diluting the votes of American citizens.
