10 Times Abdul El-Sayed Has Called to Eliminate Private Insurance

Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed is lying to Michigan voters and trying to claim he doesn’t want to eliminate private health insurance for Americans.

The only problem? He has already called to eliminate private insurance companies at least 10 times.

2018: El-Sayed says the state should replace multiple insurance companies.
2019: El-Sayed: “Medicare-for-All is a single-payer healthcare plan. That means that under Medicare-for-All, the federal government is the only payer.”
2019: El-Sayed Says Medicare for All “eliminates your private” healthcare plan
2020: El-Sayed: "What Medicare for All does is it does away with the private insurance market. It now has one single payer…the government."
2020: El-Sayed: "Medicare for All comes in and says ‘no more of this insurance industry.’”
2020: El-Sayed says private insurance is a “middleman” that should be “cut out.”
2021: El-Sayed: “We are going to create one insurer.”
