Biden throws in the towel

Rapid Response

America’s supply chain remains very much in crisis — but after declaring in December the supply chain crisis wasn’t real, Biden threw in the towel.

For the better part of a year, Americans have dealt with one shortage after another (after another). Women have been forced to confront  “terrifying” shortages of baby formula and even feminine products. The computer chip shortage isn’t expected to be solved until next year, basic staples like peanut butter and cooking oil are still absent from store shelves, and home builders still can’t find supplies for new construction.

After repeatedly promising a fix, administration officials have, one by one, attempted to spin the mounting problems as no big deal – but they couldn’t even keep their stories straight.

Meanwhile, Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been busy cutting ribbons, plugging in electric vehicles, and schmoozing Democrat donors. Biden’s Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo admitted she’s “not involved” in the administration’s response. Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre could not be more clueless. And Biden himself is on vacation in Delaware.

Americans blame Biden, and rightly so. He failed.
