During his
State of the Union address President Trump urged the passing of the Stop
Insider Trading Act, which would ban members of Congress, their
spouses and dependent children from purchasing publicly traded stocks, and it's
safe to say, Nancy Pelosi was not thrilled after President Trump called out her
dishonesty and less than stellar reputation during his speech.
After being brutally called out for being one of the most infamous violators of insider trading on Capitol Hill, Pelosi quickly got defensive during an interview stating she didn’t get into politics "for the money."

Pelosi has
amassed a fortune of up to over $400
million since joining congress over 40 years ago, and
her return on stock trades outperformed the
DOW by nearly 17,000% between 1987 and 2025.
Pelosi is
so well known for her stock picks and privileged information, there are businesses specifically
structured around tracking her trades and profiting off of them. But she mocks
that she, “never intended to run for public office…[it’s] funny to me that I
became the second most powerful person in America.”
There's
nothing "funny" about Pelosi abusing her power to grow her wealth
while the American people suffered from her disastrous policies.
