The Economy Added Less Than Half The Jobs Expected In September
THE WORST JOBS REPORT OF THE YEAR
- The September jobs report shows that Joe Biden continues to squander the economic recovery he inherited.
- The economy added only 194,000 jobs, less than half the number of jobs economists predicted.
- The Biden White House is actually proud of this failure, with Biden’s Chief of Staff Ron Klain shamelessly trying to spin that the worst jobs report of the year is “pretty good.”
- While Biden is failing to create jobs, Republican-led states are leading the economic recovery.
FAR FEWER JOBS THAN EXPECTED
- The economy added just 194,000 jobs in September, with women actually losing 26,000 jobs.
- The labor force participation rate fell in September even though this is a time when millions of Americans want to return to work.
- Because of Biden’s failed policies, workers are still struggling to get their jobs back and businesses are struggling to hire, even though the economy has nearly 11 million job openings – a record high.
- 5 million workers still say they are unable to work because their employer is closed or has lost business because of the pandemic.
RED STATES ARE LEADING THE ECONOMIC RECOVERY, WHILE BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS HOLD IT BACK
BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS WANT TO SMOTHER THE RECOVERY
BIDENFLATION IS HURTING WORKERS, FAMILIES, AND SMALL BUSINESSES
- As American workers and small businesses are still struggling to recover, families are facing rising prices for everyday goods.
- According to Biden’s favorite economist, Mark Zandi, the real cost of Biden’s inflation crisis is an extra $175 a month for the average American household – that’s an extra $2,100 a year.
- Rapidly rising prices for everyday goods have completely swamped any wage growth for workers.
- Taking inflation into account, wages have fallen over the last year.
- In August, consumer prices rose by 5.3 percent.
- Core consumer prices rose by 4 percent – the highest spike since 1991.
- Producer prices rose 8.3 percent, the fifth month in a row the index increased by a record amount.
- Economists forecast that if nothing changes, rising prices are “here to stay for years.”
- Now is not the time for Biden and Democrats’ trillions in reckless tax hikes and new spending, which would create even more inflation.
