RNC Co-Chair Statement On John Foust’s Anti-Woman Attack on Barbara Comstock

Sharon Day - August 22, 2014

Republican National Committee (RNC) Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement in response to Democratic House Candidate John Foust’s bizarre and sexist attack on his Republican opponent Barbara Comstock, in which he accused her of not ever having a real job.

“As a working mom and grandmother, I am appalled by the comments John Foust made about Barbara Comstock’s career,”said RNC Co-Chair Sharon Day. “It’s outrageous that John Foust is so out-of-touch that he would claim a working mother of three has never had a real job. John Foust is taking a page right out of the Democrats’ misleading War on Women playbook and his comments are insulting and demeaning to working women across the country.”
