WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web video "Same Tired Rhetoric" showing President Obama recycling the same scare tactics he used last year to demean the House Republican budget. Even though his own 'budget' has not received a single vote in Congress in the last two years, he's all too willing to continue attacking House Republicans for their leadership. It's telling that his own Press Secretary Jay Carney admitted today that "He could have, and did in many ways give the same speech last year at this time."

"The gig is up for the Campaigner-in-Chief who is more concerned about demagoguing his opponents rather than getting to work solving our country's challenges," said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. "For someone who ran on 'hope and change' in 2008, it's clear this time around Barack Obama is all about 'fear and loathing.'
"It is the height of hypocrisy for President Obama to attack House Republicans for putting forth a workable solution to deal with this country's problems, when his own 'plan' doesn't even have support from his own party. It is more than obvious that what we saw during the campaign is what we got in the White House: all talk and no action."
