WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on the August jobs report:
“Over the last month, we’ve seen a number of worrying signs about the future of the U.S. economy," said RNC Chairman Priebus. "That some Americans are finally going back to work is good news, but those who remain unemployed deserve our steadfast dedication to job creation. That’s why it’s so appalling that Hillary Clinton’s campaign is focused on an agenda to grow government.
“Under the Obama economy, jobs haven’t been created fast enough, the federal government has restricted innovation, the middle class has gotten squeezed, and the poor have gotten poorer. Instead of taking us in a better direction, Hillary Clinton would only exacerbate these troubling trends.”
