RNC Statement On Hillary Clinton’s Remarks At NAACP Convention

- July 18, 2016

WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) National Director of African American Initiatives and Media Telly Lovelace released the following statement on Hillary Clinton’s remarks at the annual NAACP conference in Cincinnati, OH:

“As we mourn with the families of those killed and wounded in Baton Rouge and elsewhere these last few weeks, we reaffirm that all life is precious and every American should have the right to equal justice under the law. Hillary Clinton’s platitudes on gun control and public safety will not ensure an America in which both civilians and law enforcement can feel safe in their own neighborhoods. Donald Trump wants to restore law and order to our communities and Make America Safe Again, and at a time when the country is in need of healing, our Party is committed to providing strong leadership at every level that will achieve peace, unity, and a stronger America.”
