RNC Statement On The February Jobs Report

- March 4, 2016

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on the February jobs report:

“The economy is still not close to where it needs to be. The Obama economy continues to produce falling wages for American workers, making it harder and harder for them to support their families. The percentage of Americans no longer in the labor force is at a three-decade high. Economic growth continues to be anemic and the middle class continues to shrink.

“Hillary Clinton’s economic proposals are just more of the same, and her plan to raise taxes by more than a trillion dollars will only prolong today’s economic malaise and delay tomorrow’s prosperity. Only our Republican candidates are talking about the pro-growth solutions needed to grow Americans’ paychecks and bring back the kind of prosperity they deserve.”
