WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on the June jobs report:
“Today’s jobs report shows June brought good news for a few but more disappointment for the millions who need a job,” said Chairman Priebus. “This snail’s pace of job creation isn’t good enough for our families and communities.
“America must do better. But that requires President Obama to get his priorities in order. Does he care about real job creation or not? The implementation of Obamacare isn’t going to provide relief. His job-killing carbon regulations won’t create jobs. And it certainly doesn’t help young Americans that Democrats recently let student loan rates double.
“Now it’s probably only a matter of time before the White House announces they’re ‘pivoting’ to jobs again. But their record shows us the economy needs more than a rhetorical pivot. America deserves better: Obama’s federal government must stop crowding out opportunity.”
