In an historic vote, the Senate voted to put middle-class families first and pass tax reform. According to the Tax Foundation, tax reform will generate 35,063 new jobs in Ohio, and Ohioans will receive an extra $2,375 in after-tax income. Unfortunately for hardworking Ohioans, Sherrod Brown decided to listen to Chuck Schumer instead of his constituents and oppose the bill in a blatant effort to obstruct the President’s agenda at all costs.
“Ohioans will remember Sherrod Brown’s vote against tax reform. Brown has obstructed tax reform from the beginning, and voters have the opportunity to replace him in 2018 with someone who puts the best interest of Ohioans ahead of partisan politics.” –RNC Spokesperson Ellie Hockenbury
