In case you missed it, the National Association of Manufacturers published a survey today that reported through the roof confidence from association members. 95% of the 14,000 manufacturers surveyed reported having a positive outlook for their companies, a number that includes 95.8% of medium-sized manufacturers.
The President of NAM credited this rise in confidence and wages to the Republican passed Tax Cuts & Jobs Act that became law last December. This was of course done with no help from Senator Tammy Baldwin who chose to put politics above employers and employees in Wisconsin. Despite this newly reported rise in manufacturer confidence and the fact that Wisconsin recently ranked second in the nation in manufacturing jobs added over the year, Baldwin still publicly parrots partisan talking points about the law that has already done so much for Wisconsin.
“Tammy Baldwin’s refusal to acknowledge the seemingly endless good news out of Wisconsin courtesy of the Republican-led tax cuts is laughable. As Baldwin begins to masquerade as a moderate during election season, Wisconsinites will remember her playing politics with their wallets and jobs.”-- RNC Spokesperson Christiana Purves
