#TBT Tammy Baldwin on $15 Minimum Wage

Christiana Purves - January 25, 2018

There’s exciting news out of Hartland, Wisconsin: Town Bank is joining the ever-growing list of companies to raise their minimum hourly wage to $15 following the implementation of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That’s right, an expected 600 more of Tammy Baldwin’s constituents will benefit from the law, and that’s no thanks to Senator Baldwin.

But wait there’s more… #TBT to Tammy calling for raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. What do you say now, Tammy? Do you still think tax reform is bad for middle-class families?

“It’s getting increasingly harder for Senator Baldwin to explain her partisan vote against tax reform with all the positive impacts the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is having on Wisconsin. Will Baldwin admit she was wrong now that companies are raising the minimum wage—something she’s long fought for? Or will she have to answer for her hypocrisy at the polls in November?”-- Spokesperson Christiana Purves
