President Trump officially signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act this morning, which means middle class Hoosiers will be getting bigger paychecks next year. Mexico Joe Donnelly sided with Chuck Schumer over Hoosiers, as mentioned by Ken de la Bastide in the Anderson Herald Bulletin:
“Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., joined fellow Democrats in voting against the legislation, and that vote is sure to be a hot topic during his re-election bid in 2018.”
As soon as Donnelly voted no on tax reform he began a misinformation campaign in an effort to deceive Hoosiers. However, Mexico Joe has been using the same deceiving rhetoric since the beginning of the tax reform debate.
TEQUILA SHOT: “This bill cuts taxes for the wealthiest Americans, while raising taxes on the majority of families making less than $75,000.”
LIME CHASER: “Most importantly, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will give typical families of four earning $73,000 per year a $2,059 tax cut next year.”
“President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law this morning, and companies are already boosting wages, investing in American jobs, and supercharging the economy. When middle class Hoosiers get bigger paychecks in 2018 from tax reform, they’re going to remember that Mexico Joe Donnelly opposed it. Hoosiers have an opportunity to replace Mexico Joe with someone who will stand up for their values in 2018.” –RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce
