Today, The Daily Caller reports that top Clinton State Department aide Huma Abedin, who currently serves as the Clinton presidential campaign's Vice Chair, signed standard form OF-109, the Separation Statement certifying that she had "surrendered to responsible officials all unclassified documents, and papers relating to the official business of the Government" when she left the State Department.
Despite signing the agreement, Abedin kept all records from a private email account she used for government business well after signing the statement on February 13, 2013. Like her boss, it wasn't until years later, under pressure from the State Department, that Abedin finally provided the thousands of pages of emails and documents she previously certified she had turned over.
Right above Abedin's signature, the document clearly outlines the "criminal penalties for knowingly and willfully falsifying or concealing material fact in a statement or document submitted to any department or agency of the United States Government."
