Today, DNC Deputy Chair Congressman Keith Ellison will address the Florida Democrats’ ‘A better Florida’ state conference. However, Ellison’s radically-progressive positions and resist and obstruct platform are not good for Floridians at all. Among other absurd proposals, Ellison has been vocally anti-Israel, wants a 60%+ tax rate, and would take away second amendment rights. Not exactly a message Sunshine Staters are going to rally behind.
Also speaking at the conference is Senator Bill Nelson, headlining a lunch entitled “Keep on Winning.” There likely weren’t too many keynote choices with Republicans holding every other statewide office in Florida and after Ellison and the DNC presided over multiple Democrat losses and embarrassing fundraising performances around the country already this year. But does Nelson agree with all the far-left positions of his party leader and invited special guest?
“Before they take the same stage this weekend, Floridians deserve to know if Senator Nelson supports the outrageous, offensive comments and the radical race to the left championed by DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison. Ellison, Nelson, and Democrats’ message of resist and obstruct won’t resonate with Florida voters who helped elect President Trump and his positive, conservative vision for America last November. Rather than parroting the Democrat Party’s big-government, ultra-progressive message, Nelson should work with President Trump and Senate Republicans to tackle issues important to Floridians like passing tax reform.” – RNC Spokesperson Ellie Hockenbury
